1. Overview
sax4 ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding user privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). sax4 operates strictly on a zero-PII (Personally Identifiable Information) database model. We do not store or collect personal data, registry credentials, or profiles on our backend databases.
2. Data Collection & Patreon Integration
We do not collect or maintain any personal profiles or credential databases. Authentication, billing, and subscription checking are handled entirely by Patreon. When you complete authentication, we temporarily query the Patreon API to verify your active subscriber status. This returns a temporary local session token that is saved in your web browser. No credit card details, payment history, email addresses, or names are ever processed or stored on sax4 infrastructure.
3. Cookies & Browser Storage
sax4 does not utilize advertising, tracking, or marketing cookies. We limit browser storage to strictly functional requirements:
- Local Storage (Necessary): The browser's local storage (`localStorage`) stores the secure token (`sax4_session_token`) required to maintain your active subscription session across requests.
4. Third-Party Services
sax4 utilizes the following reliable partners to operate secure services:
- Patreon: Manages subscription plans, payment checkouts, and handles customer support and account credentials. Refer to the Patreon Privacy Policy for your data rights.
- Cloudflare: Provides secure application hosting, global CDN, and Web Application Firewall protection.
5. User Data Rights
Since sax4 does not compile, store, or hold any personal directories, usernames, or payment transactions, we do not possess files or profiles to retrieve, export, or delete. To inspect, modify, or erase any account information, you must submit requests directly to the Patreon Privacy Center.
